Fence treated as site work. We lay out the line, correct the grade where it matters, set posts to stay plumb, and finish with trim, caps, gates, and a stain or paint schedule that keeps the wood from going grey and cupped.
A fence is only as straight as the ground under it
Most fence problems start before the first post: a slope nobody graded, a swale running straight through the post line, or a layout done by eye. We treat fencing as site work. The line gets laid out, the grade gets corrected or built up where it needs to be, and posts go in where they will stay plumb.

Staining and painting
Bare wood in South Carolina goes grey fast and cups when one side dries faster than the other. We stain or paint new fence once the wood has dried to spec, and we refinish existing fence after a proper wash and dry. Solid stains and paints hide more and last longer; semi-transparent stains show the grain and need a shorter cycle. We will tell you which one fits the fence you have and what the re-coat interval really looks like here.
Before you build
Know where your lines are, and check any neighborhood or HOA rules on height, style, and which side the finished face goes. Some municipalities require a permit. We walk all of that with you before materials are ordered.
